Password disclosure via Android task-switcher preview

Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025

Information exposure in Mozilla Firefox before 144 allows physically proximate attackers to view password data in Android card view. The Android task-switcher snapshot retained the last-used password edit screen instead of substituting a black preview. Exposure requires an open password-related screen followed by app switching and is limited to information visible in the resulting card image.
