Session hijacking via reusable logout cookie
Published Dec 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Insufficient session expiration in nopCommerce before 4.70 and 4.80.3 allows remote attackers with a valid cookie to hijack sessions. The login feature leaves the .Nop.Authentication cookie valid after logout or session termination, and the server continues accepting it at privileged endpoints such as /Admin. Exploitation requires a previously issued cookie obtained from a legitimate session and grants access only within that cookie holder's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
