CVE-2025-11694Network attack vector

Controller service interruption via unvalidated CIP packets

Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026

Improper CIP integrity validation in Rockwell Automation CompactLogix 5370 through 37.011 allows remote attackers to fault controllers. The controller processes CIP traffic without validating sequence numbers or source IP addresses, enabling reuse of a Connection ID visible through its web interface. Network access and a valid Connection ID are required; crafted packets trigger a minor fault that interrupts controller availability.
