JavaScript execution via unescaped search query

Reflected DOM XSS in GNOME GI-DocGen before 2025.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted q parameter. Generated search code reads the q value from the page URL and inserts the search term into HTML without encoding it. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted documentation URL, allowing script access to the page DOM and session cookies on that origin.
