Authenticated SQL injection via contact query parameter
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Contact Manager with Export to VCF 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The /endpoint/delete-contact.php handler passes the contact query parameter into a MySQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling blind predicate injection. A low-privilege application session is required; successful exploitation can disclose or modify contact data and disrupt database-backed operations.
