Authenticated database manipulation via unsanitized password input
Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Automated Voting System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate its database via a crafted password. The /admin/update_user.php handler inserts the POST password parameter directly into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Administrator-level access to the user-management endpoint is required; the flaw exposes or alters database records but does not establish host-level code execution.
