CVE-2025-11665Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked firmware argument

Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025

OS command injection in D-Link DAP-2695 2.00RC131 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through firmware updates. Unchecked optarg data reaches snprintf-built rm commands through sub_40EF84 and then vsprintf and system in sub_40DC38. Administrative privileges are required; successful exploitation permits arbitrary code execution or a service crash on the access point.
