Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Oct 13, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in School Management System at commit 6b6fae5426044f89c08d0dd101c7fa71f9042a59 allows remote attackers to execute code. The unauthenticated uploadNotes.php endpoint accepts the multipart file field without checking its type or extension and preserves the attacker-supplied PHP filename in the web-accessible notesUploads directory. Requesting the stored PHP file executes it with web-server privileges, enabling command execution without an account or user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
