Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Oct 13, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in School Management System allows remote attackers to execute code through createNotice.php. The unauthenticated endpoint accepts a multipart file without type validation, preserves its PHP extension, and stores it in the web-accessible notesUploads directory. The affected rolling-release snapshot is commit 6b6fae5426044f89c08d0dd101c7fa71f9042a59; requesting the stored script executes code with the web server user's privileges.
