CVE-2025-11656Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted notes upload

Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Oct 13, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in ProjectsAndPrograms School Management System allows remote attackers to execute code without authentication. The /assets/editNotes.php endpoint accepts the multipart file parameter without authenticating the request or restricting its extension, then stores the original PHP filename under the web-accessible /notesUploads/ directory. Fetching the uploaded script executes it with the web server account, enabling arbitrary command execution and access to application data.
