Unauthorized S3 uploads via reusable script parameters
Published Oct 12, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
Insecure credential storage in Furbo 360 FB0035_FW_036 and earlier and Furbo Mini MC0020_FW_074 and earlier allows local users to upload to S3. The collect_logs.sh script retains reusable S3 upload parameters and an x-amz-grant-full-control header, enabling its upload operation to be recreated off-device. Low-privilege local access to the camera firmware is required; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized file upload, not code execution.
