SYSTEM code execution via AgentPortal deserialization
Published Oct 13, 2025 · Updated Oct 13, 2025
Insecure deserialization in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before 2024 SU4 allows local users to execute code with SYSTEM privileges. The AgentPortal service deserializes user-supplied data without proper validation, allowing crafted input to instantiate an unsafe object graph. Exploitation requires the ability to run low-privileged code on the Windows host and yields arbitrary code execution as SYSTEM.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
