Administrator-session script execution via unescaped taxonomy parameter
Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in WPSpeedo Team Members Showcase before 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The taxonomies admin page inserts the taxonomy query parameter into its response without sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in high-privilege user to open a crafted URL; the script then runs with that user's WordPress origin privileges.
