Unauthenticated command execution via crafted network packets

OS command injection in NEC EXPRESSCLUSTER X 4.0 through 4.3 and 5.0 through 5.2 for Linux allows remote attackers to execute commands. NEC identifies the exposed locus only as the data-transfer service on default TCP port 29002 and has not disclosed how packet fields reach an OS command. No authentication or user interaction is required; a reachable service can therefore yield arbitrary OS-command execution on the Linux host, including SingleServerSafe installations.
