Authenticated router crash via unchecked QoS value
Published Oct 9, 2025 · Updated Oct 9, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC7 15.03.06.44 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via crafted HTTP requests. The saveAutoQos handler stores an oversized enable value without a length check, and getAdvanceStatus later copies it into a fixed-size stack buffer. Low-privileged web-management access is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a crash, while code execution is not demonstrated.
