CVE-2025-11519Network attack vector

Authenticated media offload via unchecked object key

Published Oct 18, 2025 · Updated Oct 18, 2025

Authorization bypass in Optimole WordPress Plugin 4.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to offload other users' media. The /wp-json/optml/v1/move_image endpoint accepts a user-controlled media key without verifying ownership before offloading the referenced attachment. Author-level access is required, and successful exploitation changes the storage state of media the account does not own.
