Unauthenticated wishlist manipulation via unvalidated shared keys
Published Oct 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in WPC Smart Wishlist for WooCommerce 5.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter shared wishlists. Several wishlist AJAX handlers trust a user-controlled shared key without validating that it authorizes changes to the selected wishlist. Possession of an exposed sharing key is the only gate, allowing unauthenticated additions and complete emptying of another user's saved items.
