Authorization bypass in The Events Calendar Event Tickets and Registration 5.26.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain paid tickets for free. The free-order REST endpoint accepts a user-selected paid ticket type without verifying that the ticket is eligible for the free gateway. No authentication is required, and a successful request creates access to a paid ticket without collecting payment, causing revenue loss.
