Unauthenticated API key disclosure via public text file
Published Oct 24, 2025 · Updated Oct 24, 2025
Sensitive information exposure in Quickcreator – AI Blog Writer 0.0.9 through 0.1.17 allows remote attackers to read its API key. The plugin writes the key to dupasrala.txt under its web-accessible content path without restricting requests to that file. Unauthenticated network access to the fixed path is sufficient, and the exposed credential can authorize post creation and XSS payload injection.
