Stored XSS via unescaped FAQ shortcode attributes
Published Nov 1, 2025 · Updated Nov 1, 2025
Stored XSS in Magazine3 Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP 1.51 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The saswp_tiny_multi_faq_render function places user-controlled saswp_tiny_multiple_faq shortcode attributes into generated FAQ markup without sufficient sanitization or contextual output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store the payload in a page, and the script runs in a visitor's browser whenever that page is viewed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
