Process memory exhaustion via unreleased bfd_malloc allocation

Memory leak in GNU Binutils ld 2.43 allows attackers to exhaust process memory by supplying a crafted linker input. The ld component reaches bfd_malloc in libbfd.c while processing the input but does not release the resulting allocation after its effective lifetime. User interaction is required to invoke ld on the crafted input, and the bounded consequence is increased memory consumption and possible process interruption.
