CVE-2025-11493Public exploit

On-path SYSTEM code execution via unsigned plugins

Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025

Code download without integrity checks in ConnectWise Automate before 2025.9 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute code as SYSTEM. The agent accepts attacker-supplied checksums and dependencies from unsigned DEPS, DepCheck, and cmdGetPlugins responses, then loads a matching .NET plugin. Exploitation requires an HTTP server address or fallback and on-path control when plugin configuration is fetched, yielding administrative control without credentials or user interaction.
