Code execution via Storage use-after-free
Published Nov 6, 2025 · Updated Nov 6, 2025
Use-after-free in Google Chrome Storage before 141.0.7390.65 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted video file. Google has not disclosed the affected Storage object or the lifetime error that leaves freed memory reachable during video processing. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled video content, and successful memory corruption executes code in the browser context.
