Database disclosure via unvalidated unread-exclusion cookie
Published Nov 8, 2025 · Updated Nov 8, 2025
SQL injection in Asgaros Forum 3.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through a crafted cookie. The prepare_unread_status method JSON-decodes the asgarosforum_unread_exclude cookie and accepts noninteger keys and values that flow into SQL queries without sufficient preparation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to database confidentiality.
