CVE-2025-11444Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked wepkey copy

Published Oct 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 8, 2025

Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK N600R 4.3.0cu.7866_B20220506 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt HTTP-handler memory. The setWiFiBasicConfig path in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi copies the attacker-controlled wepkey value with strcpy into a fixed-size destination without a length check. A valid management session is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates an out-of-bounds write but not end-to-end code execution.
