CVE-2025-11418Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated service crash via unbounded sprintf

Published Oct 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 8, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda CH22 Firmware 1.0.0.0 and 1.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to crash its web service via an HTTP request. The formWrlsafeset function passes attacker-controlled mit_ssid_index data to sprintf, which writes into the fixed 448-byte stack buffer v27 without a length bound. No authentication is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a service crash, while arbitrary code execution has not been demonstrated.
