Administrator code execution via unchecked photo upload
Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in CampCodes Advanced Online Voting Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The photo handler in /admin/voters_add.php accepts PHP and PHTML files without checking their extension, MIME type, or content, then stores them in the web-accessible /images/ directory. Administrative access is required; executing an uploaded web shell grants control within the web server process.
