Authenticated code execution via unchecked strcpy
Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025
Buffer overflow in /dbsrv.asp in D-Link DI-7001 MINI 24.04.18B1 allows remote authenticated users to crash the gateway or execute code. An unnamed handler passes the str POST value to strcpy without checking its length, overflowing the destination buffer. Access to the management interface and a valid administrative session cookie are required; successful exploitation interrupts service or runs code on the appliance.
