Database access via unescaped currcode parameter
Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Hotel and Lodge Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access or alter database data. The save_curr.php handler places the currcode POST value directly into an SQL query without neutralization, allowing the database to interpret injected syntax. The CNA rates low privileges as required, while the public report claims no login is needed but demonstrates a request containing a session cookie.
