Unauthenticated code execution via .NET Remoting deserialization

Unsafe deserialization in N-able N-central Windows Software Probe before 2025.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The port 10004 .NET Remoting channel passes messages with a brute-forceable ApplianceId header to BinaryFormatter, while XAML gadgets bypass TypeFilterLevel.Low and Code Access Security to obtain arbitrary file writes. No account or user interaction is required, and replacing ScriptRunner64.exe yields SYSTEM-level execution when its service next runs the binary.
