Unauthenticated media upload via exposed AJAX nonce
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Missing authorization in WP Royal's Royal Addons for Elementor before 1.7.1037 allows remote attackers to upload media files. The wpr_addons_upload_file AJAX action accepts a multipart file when supplied a nonce exposed through WprConfig, without requiring an authenticated user. A publicly rendered imported Template Kit exposes the required nonce, and exploitation writes an attacker-selected file under /wp-content/uploads/wpr-addons/forms.
