Unauthenticated code execution via image upload
Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Online Hotel Reservation System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute server-side code. The unauthenticated /admin/addslideexec.php handler accepts an image whose PNG header passes its content check while retaining an attacker-supplied .php suffix, then stores it under the web-accessible /images/slider path. No login is required; requesting the uploaded script executes it with the web server's privileges, enabling arbitrary command execution and modification of application data.
