Arbitrary file read via unsanitized fileName path
Published Oct 6, 2025 · Updated Oct 6, 2025
Path traversal in Four-Faith Water Conservancy Informatization Platform 2.0 through 2.2 allows remote attackers to read server files. The download.do file-download handler uses the fileName parameter without validating parent-directory sequences, so a crafted path escapes the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated request reads application configuration data through the network-facing endpoint.
