Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked sprintf
Published Oct 5, 2025 · Updated Oct 5, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Belkin F9K1015 1.00.10 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted language request. The formSetLanguage handler passes the POST webpage parameter to sprintf without checking its length, overflowing the v6 stack buffer. Administrative web access is required; the public artifact supplies a triggering request but does not document the resulting crash or code execution.
