Contributor-level stored XSS via misselected sanitization callbacks
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in VK All in One Expansion Unit 9.112.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via CTA fields. The CTA save function looks up sanitization callbacks in $custom_field_name instead of $custom_field_options, so the vkExUnit_cta_url and vkExUnit_cta_button_text values are stored without the intended filtering. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload, which executes in a user’s browser when an affected page is opened.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
