Code execution via unneutralized CSV formulas
Published Oct 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSV injection in Contest Gallery 27.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to plant spreadsheet formulas through gallery submissions. The gallery-submission export path writes attacker-controlled field values into CSV cells without neutralizing formula-leading characters. No authentication is required to submit the input, but code execution occurs only when a recipient downloads and opens the exported file in a spreadsheet configuration that evaluates the formula.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
