CVE-2025-11244Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated content access via spoofed IP headers

Published Oct 25, 2025 · Updated Oct 25, 2025

Authorization bypass in Password Protected 2.7.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to read protected WordPress content. The pp_get_ip_address() function accepts client-controlled proxy headers as the visitor address and uses that value to retrieve an authenticated transient. Exploitation requires the non-default Use transients setting, a known authenticated user's public IP address, and no intermediary that overwrites spoofed headers.
