Resource exhaustion in Shelly Pro 4PM before 1.6 allows remote attackers to reboot the device via oversized local-network RPC requests. The HTTP, WebSocket, and MQTT JSON-RPC parser passes attacker-controlled strings to Frozen json_scanf's %Q conversion, which allocates the full string without a size bound and exhausts the ESP32 heap. Parsing occurs before authentication and method validation, so any reachable RPC method can trigger a repeatable reboot and temporary loss of relay control and telemetry.
