CVE-2025-11192

Physical fabric access via unchecked IS-IS authentication

Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025

Improper authentication in Extreme Networks Fabric Engine before 9.3 allows physically proximate attackers to access fabric data. On SD-WAN AutoSense ports, the implementation establishes fabric connectivity without validating configured IS-IS authentication settings. Physical access to an AutoSense-enabled port is required; exploitation exposes network fabric and configuration data and permits unauthorized fabric access.
