DLL hijacking in Acronis True Image for Windows before build 42386 allows local users to gain elevated privileges. Acronis has not disclosed the affected executable, DLL name, or unsafe library-loading sequence beyond identifying uncontrolled DLL search-path behavior. Exploitation requires existing low-privileged local access and user interaction, after which attacker-controlled code runs with elevated privileges.
