Unauthenticated SQL injection via unprepared login query
Published Oct 15, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
SQL injection in External Login 1.11.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read external authentication database data via the log parameter. The PostgreSQL and MSSQL login-query path inserts the user-supplied log value into an existing SQL statement without sufficient escaping or preparation. Exploitation requires the plugin to use PostgreSQL or MSSQL for external authentication; no WordPress account or user interaction is required.
