Database disclosure via unescaped coin parameter
Published Feb 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
SQL injection in CoinRemitter Plugin for OpenCart 0.0.1 through 0.0.2 allows remote attackers to read database data via POST requests. The unauthenticated notify route concatenates the coin POST parameter into a database query without casting or escaping, enabling error-based, Boolean-based, and time-based injection. The extension must be installed and enabled; successful exploitation exposes OpenCart administrator records and CoinRemitter wallet credentials.
