Credential disclosure via Base64-encoded HTTP authentication

Weak password encoding in SATO S86-ex firmware 61.00.00.09 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to obtain web-server credentials. The web-server login encodes submitted credentials with Base64 and places the reversible value in HTTP headers instead of cryptographically protecting the secret. Exploitation requires network-adjacent interception while an administrator logs in, exposing reusable credentials without directly altering configuration or interrupting printing.
