Reflected XSS via crafted HTML filename path
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Reflected XSS in Apt-Cacher-NG 3.2.1 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser through a crafted /html/ URL. The /html/.html handler places attacker-controlled path content into an HTML response without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL; injected script then runs in that browser's Apt-Cacher-NG origin, enabling page data access or modification.
