Script execution via unneutralized report URL input
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Reflected XSS in Apt-Cacher-NG 3.2.1 allows remote attackers to run scripts in the web management interface through a crafted URL. The /acng-report.html handler incorporates GET input from the request URL into its generated page without neutralizing script-capable content. Execution requires a user to open the crafted URL, and the script runs in that user's browser context, enabling page-content access or modification.
