Account hijacking via unverified AJAX identity
Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Authentication bypass in Mstore Mobile App through 2.08 and Mstoreapp Mobile Multivendor through 9.0.1 allows remote attackers to hijack accounts. The mstoreapp-google_connect AJAX action accepts a supplied email and dummy access token without verifying the user's identity, then returns a valid session. No authentication or user interaction is required; knowledge of a target email address is enough to impersonate that account, including an administrator.
