Script execution via unescaped Name parameter
Published Sep 27, 2025 · Updated Sep 27, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in Projectworlds Visitor Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via Name. The Add Visitor endpoint passes the Name field from a form-encoded POST to /myform.php and renders it into HTML without sanitization or output encoding. Exploitation requires a high-privilege session and a victim to load the crafted response, allowing attacker-supplied JavaScript to run in that user's browser.
