CVE-2025-11065Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Sensitive-input disclosure via verbose WeakDecode errors

Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026

Information disclosure in go-viper mapstructure before 2.4.0 allows attackers to expose sensitive input through malformed values. WeakDecode conversion helpers return parser and type errors that reproduce the original untrusted value, which consuming applications can write to logs. Exposure requires security-sensitive data to reach a malformed conversion and an application to retain or reveal the resulting detailed error.
