Unauthenticated internal service probing via baseUrl
Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025
SSRF in Tencent WeKnora 0.1.0 allows remote attackers to make the server probe internal HTTP services without authentication. The testEmbeddingModel handler at /api/v1/initialization/embedding/test accepts source set to remote and concatenates the unvalidated baseUrl with /embeddings before issuing an HTTP GET. No login is required; response status differences expose service availability, while the published proof of concept targets a loopback address.
