Authenticated file disclosure via unsanitized path
Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025
Path traversal in KodCloud KodBox 1.61.09 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files through a crafted path. The fileOut function in app/controller/explorer/index.class.php passes the request path to the file-output layer without constraining the resolved path to the authorized storage root. A valid low-privileged account and network access are required, and exposure is limited to files readable by the PHP service.
